I lived in India for a while and some of the best people where from lower castes and many school children from higher castes would look down on people in their old age ect because of caste system, which really makes you sick.........an outsider often ends up loving the poor people and despising the snobs.


Indian ‘untouchable’ lynched by village strongman for breaking strict caste rules when he touched hand pump during heatwave

An Indian untouchable who tried to use hand pump during a heatwave was brutally beaten to death for breaking strict caste rules.

Mohan Paswan, in his late 40s, was lynched in Parhuti village in Bihar state last Thursday when he disobeyed an order by a local thug not to touch the pump.
Police in north India are now hunting for the village strongman accused of the murder.
A local police official said: 'Paswan was attacked and brutally thrashed by Pramod Singh and his henchmen for taking water.

'Police have been trying hard to arrest the accused in the case but they are absconding.'



Caste-based discrimination is illegal in India, but abuse is rife, particularly in remote rural areas where the rigid system that places 'untouchables' at the bottom of the social order remains intact.

The low castes, also known as Dalits, traditionally do menial, dirty and often dangerous jobs and are seen as spiritually and physically dirty by the high castes who sometimes prevent them from drinking at the same wells.


Discrimination: In remote rural areas abuse is still rife

A fortnight ago there were tensions in the Arwal district of Bihar where Dalits were prevented from entering a Hindu temple where high castes were worshipping.
The term ‘caste’ itself is not an Indian one, coming from the Portuguese casta, meaning ‘race’ or ‘pure stock’.

According to those who practice and promote it, caste is determined by birth and cannot be changed.

Not entirely sure how they are recognized but one thing will be for sure .......they will be dirt dirt poor................

It's all about culture. That's their culture, I don't have a dog in this hunt, but other than saying that sucks, in my Amerikwan CULTURE, negros can live on welfare for GENERATIONS and with no skin in the game can simply vote against my interests in a Republic that some how turned Democratic. I worked with an Indian once. He had a masters degree in engineering and was a maintenance superintendent. His subordinates would route magazine articles for him and others to read. Following the custom they would do so with a post-it-note marked FYI and a list of the people the magazine would be routed to.

The Indian would show the note to several people to see if they knew what it meant. It came out that he thought it meant F*ck You Indian.

I read somewhere that the caste system is good because it allows advanced beings to incarnate as untouchables. That gives them a harsh environment to help them progress. So the "higher" castes are actually the less advanced spiritually. Reverse of what they think it is.

None of us has more rights to life and liberty than others. It is a sad thing to hear about a thug killing another beaten down person because he tought he was superior. Very sad.
