If there is a single feature of the forum software that provides real feedback to people posting here, it is the Thanks button. It's gone. I will assume that it is temporarily gone, and will be back.

I worked hard to maintain a 2:1 "Thanks" ratio. I also made sure my thanks meant something, having given out only 120 or so in the last two years.

2. OR I will see if there is a newer supported add-on for thanks.

While we are on this subject, I think thanks should be anonymous. It could just say at the bottom of the post "5 users thanked this post", or something like that.

I think personal feedback can help posters grow. That's just my opinion. Gives some people a reality check.

If the thanks are anonymous, it's kinda hard to determine which posters are like minded. I know which people think like I do as much from the thanks as I do from their posts.

LOL, LT. Why not just have both, an anonymous thanks, and a personal thanks? And smites.

We obviously need a thanks feature, or this forum will get very annoying with all the hammerheads posting (thanks @...) posts.

Usually someone else is more eloquant at posting what I'm "thinking" about a particular thread, so the "Thanks" feature has kinda been a way for me to just say, "I agree completely, thanks for posting". Life will go on

I wanted to click the "Thanks" to show my appreciation for your posts but I was shocked to see the function disappeared !
What could that mean, why would that happen, who's trying to get us all skeered !

Some dumbshit with nuthin better to do went & wasted some precious time & he done & went & hacked !
Let me be the first to say, you oughta just GO AWAY & really should be schmacked !
