Today, as I was recovering from my New Year's Gig, I came across a great article on Dal Richards in last nights Vancouver Sun. John Mackie's inspiring column focused on Dal's amazing run of 67 straight New Year's gigs. I especially liked how he went back to the Sun archives to some of the other bands that were Dal's competition on that first New Years Gig (1935!).

Anyway, thank you John Mackie. And thanks, Dal - you've given me EXACTLY what I needed this morning.
