OKAY GUYS -

Bare in mind that a Pic of yourself thread was locked a while back (admitedly quite a while back now) because people started posting silly jokes and pics of politicians, etc and admins decided to lock it.
Personally, I dont have any issues at all with this thread; in fact, I think its great. Just bare in mind that if people start making silly jokes an Admin might lock this

Yeah, guys, don't get this one locked. I think this is actually the 5th attempt (but I think the people that got the original one on this forum locked have been banninated, so as long as no one else screwes up, we'll be fine).

Those were taken in Rome. they just happen to be the only pictures of me I had in a format that could be deep-linked. The one by the fountain is in the Piazza di Spagna and the one in the ruins is in the Roman Forum. The building behind my left shoulder (with the three windows) is the ancient Roman Senate building (this building was under construction when Caesar got killed. he died about a 15 minute walk away in another part of town, not in the forum). The hill behind my right shoulder is the Capitoline Hill. The Capitoline Museum is the building with all the little square windows. The gleaming white building directly behind me is an old facist monument to king Vittorio Emanuele II of italy, commonly called Il Vittoriano or more commonly, "wedding cake" (because it looks like one. It's actually in the valley at the bottom of the capitoline hill, but the hill is small and the monument is big, so it really sticks out.

yeah that hat no longer fits as my head has grown more and i have more hair now than that pic. but its not always like that on the side, it was just getting blown back by the wind. those pelicans were hella creepy.
