Oh sweet, so now every time someone disagrees with something I say--regardless of whether or not it's true/well-informed/unbiased--they can just lower my reputation? Just like, bam! Like that. Just click a button. And my reputation is gone. GONE. I'mma go with "no thx."

i don't agree with this system, sorry. We are already confined enough due to censorship restrictions, that system would mostly benefit the moderators, administrators and those who don't speak up their mind as much. If this system goes up i might as well get used to the idea of getting v. low reputation despite my input in the forum, only because i voice an opinion or disagree with someone

Sorry, but I have to agree. Members should be able to speak their mind and have an opinion on things. I wouldn't benefit, 'cos I mostly just say why I like a car and why I don't like it. A no from me, then.

Sorry, but i can see this leading to confict and bad feeling towards each other.

Although occasionally we argue and disagree, for the most part all of us regular CSSers are like a family. We can have a laugh with each other, and we all know each others traits. For example, I know not to drive to Swizzles house in a Toyota Prius with Amy Winehouse in the passenger seat. I also know not to 'dis' Hyundai infront of 'iameveryguy' and not to call SUVs Chelsea tractors in front of Superfresa lol.

What would be the benefits of this anyways. It would just create a forum of big-headed people with high rep, and those who have low rep will think "screw it, I may aswell create conflict as I have a low rep anyway".

Try it if you want to Ascarris, and props for asking us first, but I really don't see the point.

Huge NO! Do we want to pretend we are all in junior high? Do we want to be so needy that we court fake friends to love us? Shouldn't we have the gonads to have opinions and let people perceive us as they will? This a pretty serious discussion site and the reputation system is an asinine adolescent I-just-wannabe-loved mess. If it materializes, set mine to the lowest level, because there are those here to get me and those that don't. This is life fellas, buck up and deal.

Well, I don't have a problem with it. I don't pay attention to the rep scores on other vBulletin boards that I post on. It's only a problem if you care. Honestly, I think most of the people here have sufficient maturity levels not to abuse such a system or be excessive weenies, but I personally don't really care. Whether or not a rep point system exists here doesn't matter to me since I'm not inclined to go out of my way to notice it.

i really dont care one way or another since I wouldnt care too much for it. There are more important things in life than what people halfway around the world think of you. But if I were to care for it, I dont think its a good idea.
