Default Memories
Okay so this thread is simple. You post one memory up at a time of something important in your life so that we know one more thing about you. You can open up discussions on any memory, and it can be about anything appropriate and not to personal, because otherwise the wrong thing said by someone else could be offensive.

I'll start off with this one:

A year ago tonight I went to Prom with what I still think is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Her name was Casey, and she had long brown hair and tan skin. To this day I have never seen a more breathtaking girl since I turned around and saw her looking at me in my living room all ready for prom.

That's my memory.

Remember, rules of the game are simple. Just post up a memory of anything appropriate.

That was the most touching thing I've ever read on this forum Swizzle. I bet she's got her daddies outlook on life.

That was truly touching.

Steve you lucky dog ! How do you do it....get a beautiful girl AND draw so well !! I've been trying to woo the girl of my dreams for a looong time but no luck!

Well i have this one memory of something that happened on my 16th birthday in February this year. I had gone out with my family to a relatively expensive joint in Bombay(also called Mumbai). (I live in India BTW) . When we came out, while walking to our car, we passed this homeless guy, a beggar. We kept on walking but about 25 metres ahead i couldn't stop myself from turning around and i went back and gave the guy 10 bucks. The smile that those 10 bucks brought on that poor guy's face changed me forever ! I was already the type of person who would stop and give whatever little i could to a beggar, but after seeing that smile i realized the sheer power of generosity and giving, the power of charity.

I dont really know much about the number of street beggars or homeless people in the cities of the United States or Canada or Europe but i do know that there are a lot of poor people everywhere in this world. So i request all of the kind hearted CSS members to help as many unfortunate people as you can, you will feel great ! And please do a little charity, trust me it doesn't hurt at all !

If we can strive to help all those whom we can in this world, touch as many lives as we can with a little unconditional love and try to do a little good to everyone, everyday, then i'm sure that we can make this world a much better place !!

Yeah...i'd post a pic but my date prob would'nt like that very much so ill put me up later...
anyway, prom was okay, she didn't dance so i danced with my friends which was stupid fun...after prom we got dinner and then we went to the after prom party...which was boring i won't lie a bowling alley at 2 in the morning isn't the best place for an after prom party...
I know it sounds like a preety iffy night, but she looked so beautiful, it didn't matter. The Nights after prom i just kept dreaming and thinking about it, and her...still driving me crazy to this day...but IDK...I'm stupid over her...like when we're on the phone my mind goes dumb and blanks out...idk...i'm such a nerd...

And Graduation was so boring I doodled a bit and joked around, then afterwards i said whats up to my homies and then...due to other things I'm home right now and not at the arcade chill'n with friends..but its been a good day... I'M FINALLY FREE!!!!!
until August...damn CCS...

Steve you look very handsome and your dates a looker...lol you still get "that feeling"...wow...its amazing the power of a woman.

as for the homeless people, thats a generous gesture, I like to give...its in my spirit, but I don't like to give to everyone because most homeless people here are strung out on drugs and they use that money to feed the habit...

awww swizzle got a 'stang fan already, lol...introdce her to a Camaro and she'll forget all about the 'stang j/k

okay thats the most i've ever posted,
more memories

One of my best memories would have to be the day I got accepted to the college I now attend. I had a downhill ski meet that day, meaning I had to be at my high school and on the bus at 5:30 am, then was stressed about races and everything all day. The acceptance decisions were posted at 5 pm, but we didn't get back into town until around 7 so I spent the entire bus ride freaking out. I got home and checked my status online (was extremely shaky cause it's an Ivy League school) and found out I was accepted. When I started calling the family I found out that my uncle was engaged and was flying all of my family (including myself) to Maui for his wedding.

pjl that reminds me of when I found out that I got into the straight medical program I am currently in. People who had gotten in had already been contacted a week earlier, so I was pretty much positive I was not going to get in. I got all four of my wisdom teeth pulled out that day so I was passed out on my bed with a bunch of swabs in my mouth, drugged up on a LOT of painkillers. I got a call on my phone and picked it up, was the program director telling me I got in! I slurred and dribbled out a thank you, and the program director sounded absolutely aghast, stuttering out an "....okay, uh, I guess we'll see you next year...?" I explained to them my situation in slurs and half words, she understood. I went over next door to my parents' room and told them the news. They leaped for joy, I passed out again haha

If it's alright could you please donate it to the Steve Neill fund? He desperatley needs a car.

And as for my plan with the girl from prom... it fell through last night, and she said she didn't want me to "ruin her prom, because it was just that... her prom".

She said she wants to be my best friend instead of spending any time with me in a sexual/mental relationship sort of way.

But oh well, I look forward. Maybe there will be a day when she turns around and says Yeah... you're the guy I want to be with.

If not, I am also accepting donations of very attractive tan skinned 18-20 year old girls with dark hair

I remember getting my wisdom teeth out, and trying to be a big man about it. It was a 4 hour operation cause they were in so bad, and when I woke up the lady was holding up three fingers:

"How many fingers do you see?"
"Huh?"
"How many fingers do you SEE?"
"Yes"
"Am I holding up three fingers?"
"Mwaaahhh uhhhh bbbbbbbtttttt yessss?"

And that was the extent of the "oh he's fine to go home" program.

Got home, and booooooooom!!!!! fell flat on my face.

rofl.

Finally, after crossing over the south pole at night, and a brief stop in Auckland, New Zealand, the Boeing 747 is flying over clear waters. The ocean is bright blue and green, the sunlight is starting to strike the metallic armour of the plane. After a long wait, Finally a cliff appears, just under the wing. Within moments, we are flying over the most amazing city, with the clear ocean finally breaking on golden beaches. The plane flies over the Opera house and the Sydney Harbour bridge, before looping back and landing.

As we were flying over Sydney, I couldn't believe that that thing down there was my new country, my new home, forever.

It was just unbelieveable - it still is.

Every now and then, I step out, leaving the computer behind, and I just walk outside my mud hut, and into the darness. Clear skies, covered in stars, and vast extensions of land. In the distance, only an occasional truck on the highway from Canberra to Sydney breaks the nights silence, and I am just overwhelmed to be so lucky so as to be Australian.

To STEVE - Hey your looking cool in that tux and your girl is reeallly pretty !!
And boy! You really love her a lot, dont you? Well, you should know this, and im sayin this out of experience, is that if you have faith, a lot of patience and if you are really persistent (in the charming and not-so-annoying kind of way) then i'm sure that she will come back to you!
>>>>Tell me, have you ever shown her your amazing sketches? If not, then BIG mistake! I'm sure her opinion of you would go through the roof if she saw your work !! Take my word for it, girls are impressed by talents like this.

So here's wishing you Best of luck with your girl and i hope you both get back together soon! Coz i know how it feels to have the love of your life so close to you and yet so far!

I think that you have really misunderstood the value of the denomination which i gave to that poor man. 10 bucks in India is like maybe 2 or 1.5 US dollars, relatively. So it would have him bought him two measly meals for another day. Now, in hindsight i do feel bad about it and i wish i had given him some more.

And there's something i'd like to add to what i had said earlier.......if giving to less fortunate people isn't your thing (please dont misunderstand V&G, this is not aimed at what you said) then the least you can do is be nice to everyone. It doesn't really matter who it is coz saying something nice to someone or helping them out in some way will only bring a smile to their face and make their day better. And all it does is endear you to them. What i'm trying to say is that think carefully about the consequences of your actions towards someone else before actually doing it. That will make everyone's life better!
