Yes. I live in a farm, so my internet is naturally slow. But this is just.... insane... It took me 15 minutes to even get to CSS home page.
Its so slow, It didn't work freom Uni, so I couldn't get into the design contest deadline...
Hope its fixed soon...

I usually use Firefox + AdBlock and it is somewhat faster than IE. I'm not using my usual connection right now but I can say that it is VERY slow with IE.

With a MAC + Firefox at Uni + a connection a LOT faster, it didn't even work.
With a PC + IE + a REALLY fricken SLOW connection at home it does work, but it takes forever...

you're right about that. on Mac it only loads halfway, so i press the X button and it diplays words but not images and I can't reply. Now I'm using PC and Firefox and while it works, it's really slow.
fourtitude.com news-blog, which is on zeroforums like CSS, works just fine. ???

It works on my Mac, but it gets to the point where I just open a separate tab for each thread I want to view and wait for them to load. And then just go down tab by tab. Takes me 3-5 minutes to load a page. D:

*EDIT AT 11:04!!!* YAY IT'S NOT LAGGY ANYMORE!!!

HI everybody,
This was my fault, not zeroforums. We had moved some external ad banner scripts to another server. However, I forgot to update CSS pages with the new server location. So the slowdown was from the site trying to invoke code that wasn't there anymore, therefore the severe slowdown.
Also, we are aware the smilies are down. Same problem as above, the files were moved to another location which is inaccessible right now. I expect to have them restored in a week.
Again, my apologies for the trouble.

Couldn't get my entry on time because of the server issue. I really liked it. It was a TVR Grantura.

Seems to be moving much faster now, although half the smilies don't work.

Same!
Ah well, good to see its fixed now. Meanwhile we still have some smilies left. Trying to get familiar with them:
:toopid: :bnd: Yay!
Edit: Bahahahha, the few smileys that we CAN see dont work. I clicked on the smiley icon in the new post section, and it doesn't appear!

Beyond slow. >.< I thought I was using the EDGE of my iPhone, but I realized that I was actually using my MacBook (and even then, EDGE usually isn't this slow, either).

I agree. But, if you use Mozilla Firefox, it is much quicker. Although, I much prefer using Internet Explorer like I used to.

I was about to start this same thread....seriously, mods or someone is there a reason that this site is so slow the past few days? is it just our site or all the ones this company hosts?

Good thing it wasn't just me who noticed it. I thought it was just my WebTV acting up.
