I Got a fine today! My first fine ever!
AU$231 Dollars, and 3 demerit points
That puts an end to 5 years driving with a clean driving record - no Accidents, no fines, no insurance claims, nothing... Well, Its over...
You see, On my way to the neighbour state, as I do every day, there's a road that intersects a highway. It has one of those lanes to merge into the highway, but it also has a Stop sign. What a bloody dumb setup! I used to stop every time, because I am overly keen in keeping to the rules, until I nearly got tailgated a few times... So now me, And everyone else I've ever seen, heard of, or know, doesn't stop there...as its fairly obvious.
Anyway, The man eating doughnuts was sitting in his falcon some 20 meters ahead , and he stopped me, and booked me for running a Stop sign.
It seems Road rules come BEFORE common sense.
God, that's about a months savings, when you pay rent, live alone, buy your own food and travell every day interstate...
Oh well, thats out now, sorry for the rant!
