Default Driving Music!
What's your favorite driving music? You know, the songs that make you unintentionally drive WAY over the speed limit. The ones that make you feel like James Bond. The music that makes you feel like you're in a car commercial or some kind of action movie.
I'm looking for some seriously cool driving music for a new playlist. For me, stuff like Crystal Method, Chemical Brothers, and Prodigy make for a pretty sweet drive, provided I'm not in the Trooper, in which case pretty much every drive is unenjoyable.

I'd say any sort of top 20 music that has a beat. Something kinda catchy, like "What you waiting for?" I love driving to "Can't get enough of this!!!" Rock I find is also pretty cool to drive wildly too as well

Basically I think a llot of hard core rock works (like Korn).
I have the TopGear Ultimate Driving Experince CD and it's got a few good tracks for a drive. here are my favorites:
J-Walk "Soul Vibration"
Deadly Avenger "We Took Pelham" -this one defn. fits the "James Bond" criteria
Les Rhythmes Digitales "Jacques Your Body" (the song from the Citroen C4 Dancing-robot ad)
Dj Shadow "You can't Go Home Again" and other DJ Shadow songs are good as well.
The Killers
The Hives...

The Mighty Sparrow always makes me get lost in the moment, and drive with a fat smile on my face.

lol, 4000-7000 is where the magic happens in my stereo system (RSX), but at least we have similar tastes in music.
edit: alrite alrite seriously though, check out "beyond the wasteland" and "advent: one winged angel" from the final fantasy vii: advent children soundtrack. if those dont' get your adrenaline up then you might be dead.

Agreed.
As for the pretentious RPM comments, let me just say that no RPM is desirable in the Trooper.

Anything by Bloc Party is always good for a bit of a drive.
