Thanks for the help kid, you obviously have a fine knowledge of Photoshop I actually never ended up using it for my project because it would've taken waaaaaaay too long, and I had only 2 days to do the project because I left it until the last minute

Ask Jake if he's around. That is if you want bunnies in the dirt...

Default PHOTOSHOP HELP!!!!
I'm doing an english project and decided to try out Photoshop. Long story short, we're doing a poetry unit and we have to incorperate the words of the poem into a picture to try a create meaning. The picture I chose was a dirt road running through a field, and I want to incorperate the writing into the road to look like it's natural (sort of like taking a stick and running through the dirt, you know?). Any ideas of how to do it? Help would be appreciated, I have until tomorrow night; THANK YOU!!!!!!!

well heres a solution that i found quickly..you can play around with the settings a bit but heres just a quick and easy solution...
1. take your picture of the dirt or dirt road or what ever and type in your text..go into the color picker for your text and where you see the # box type in 735809 and that should get you your brown color...
2.right click on your text layer in the layers box and goto blending options
3. apply these settings to the blending options 2nd option from the top:

4. then go down to inner shadow and apply these settings:

and by then it should look realistic enough
again..you can play around with the settings for whatever you think looks best..just a quick thing that i looked into
