I don't think the Jack Black part will be wierd, he can probably play a serious role, its just I can't think of a movie where he has before.

Looks like a great movie...I am sure the first couple minutes or so will be hard adjusting to Jack Black, but after that it seems he will suit the part well...

looks like peter jackson made the skull island inhabitors look orc-ish. cool!
but besides that, yea jack black in a serious role. its kinda like denzel washington in a comedy. it just doesnt seem right. but, whatever. we will see how the movie will turn out.
