Maybe I'm just old and bitchy, but I don't get it.

Local providers have been promoting the bejeesus out of this feature for most of the year. Every commercial shows a different bachelor, pausing his favourite action movie, running into another room, and clicking to continue the action without interruption. "Now you can switch rooms without missing a second of the action," the provider tells me.

Who does this? What is happening in a particular room that makes this a must-have feature? Are rooms suddenly being invaded by bees? Is retreating to another area of the house to resume the movie more important than getting rid of the bees? Pause the movie, yes, but get rid of the bees first!
