Default New Help. Internet Explorer question.
Ok, after a month of this and not being able to figure it out, I'm just going to ask.
So I was browsing the net when my Cat stepped on my keyboard and somthing happened to my browerser.
The Toolbar at the bottom vanished...Poof.
Now, it's there on windows desktop, but it's now gone on my Explorer page. This is where I had my time displayed on the bottom right corner and my volume control.

Anyways... HOW do I turn that bottom toolbar back on in Internet Explorer? Thank you.

Do you mean the status bar at the bottom?

if so view > toolbars > status bar

*and if you are using newer than IE8 just press alt to bring up the traditional menu bar or alternatively;
tools > toolbars > status bar*

Thanks for the reply. I enabled 'status' bar but that just gave me a bar that says %100 and an icon of a magnifying glass. What I want back is the Windows desktop bar thats on the bottom, even during Internet explorer.
You know, On the left there is a circular picture of the Windows icon and some short cuts. On the right is the clock and volume control and wireless internet connection bars.

You still have all your desktop icons though? Is this XP or 7?

Now, it's there on windows desktop, but it's now gone on my Explorer page. I do not understand what this means.

I do not understand what this means.
I think he means the task bar is hidden when IE is open.

There is a hide or auto-hide option for the task bar under XP. Either that or it's F11 full screened.

In XP there is a taskbar option "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows". This sounds like what you want.

Ask the cat what keystrokes he did.
