I´m not trying to be a **** here m8, but you really need to invest in a better Camera.
Because, in those pictures, due to poor lighting and image quality and well just bad photos your food looks like (let me Quote Gordon Ramsey here) f**king sh!t.

First I cut the meat to around two to three cm (that's around 1 inch give or take for you who use ridicilous imperial units instead of the sensible metric system) thick, which ... funny. not.


You can't fry in butter. Frying is 180 degree celsius, butter will burn and taste bitter when you try to get it that hot.
Perhaps you should use cleared butter..

Only the milk solids start to brown and burn at 150C, the smoke point of the fat isn't 'till 200C, possible bitter taste doesn't stick (too much anyway) to the food you're cooking in my experience.
Also, 180C (or 170-190C anyway) is for deep frying, frying is general term for cooking anything in fat or oil and doesn't specify temperature.
