Shamelss ad of my own new foodblog translated now in english too You can't fry in butter. Frying is 180 degree celsius, butter will burn and taste bitter when you try to get it that hot. Perhaps you should use cleared butter.. ![]() |

You can't fry in butter. Frying is 180 degree celsius, butter will burn and taste bitter when you try to get it that hot. Also, 180C (or 170-190C anyway) is for deep frying, frying is general term for cooking anything in fat or oil and doesn't specify temperature. |
