Default need some phpmyadmin help
I'm using a component for the website I'm making and I need to replace the type of a field.
Right now the field type is tinytext and I need to change it to text.. What would be the proper command in phpmyadmin? Never really played with the database like this before.

Click on the table and then check the box by the field you want to edit, then at the bottom of the page choose "modify this field". Then change the field type in the edit screen. You might be able to do this just on the table overview page. I've had to go from memory as I'm not inside our VPN at the minute so I can't load up a phpmyadmin screen.

Ah, that's the wrong screen. You need this screen - and then click on the edit icon for the field (highlighted in red below)

EDIT: Looks like you're on the insert screen which will only let you add data to existing fields.
