Not many bands can sing a song worse than their own crowd.
i think letting them sing the song was a wise choice. (i honestly hate those Gallagher c***´s)

Liam can be a bit of a ****, at least he isn't a media attention seeking ***** like many other musicians. I've always liked Oasis' music though and few other bands could probably generate such an atmosphere in an arena as in that video.
