They may be whining about the time they loose(sic), trying the app.

The difference is the point of this place is to post what ever's on your mind. Where as there the point is to post a review to let others know if the app is any good or not, not to moan about something everyone would know anyway, as if it was some big surprise.

Which brings me onto another bugbear of mine: people who complain about some feature/lack of feature as if it's another unknown when it's clearly stated in the app description. It seems people are downloading apps...even paid ones...based on the title alone without reading the description! [rolleyes]
They may be whining about the time they loose(sic), trying the app.
It's not like it's hidden. All these apps clearly state in the description that there is an added cost. What kind of fool expects to get content you usually have to pay for (like a magazine) for free anyway?

loose(sic) I'm always being caught out by that one.

What the App Store really needs is a way for others to comment on reviews, like they have on Amazon. I can't tell you the number of times I've seen someone write something which is complete bollocks in their review, or they don't understand how to use a particular feature, and wished I could help/put them straight.

Default Apple App Store Conundrum
Why is it so many people don't seem to get the concept of in-app purchases? I see it so many times (eg in newspaper or magazine apps where the app itself is free, but you pay for the content) in reviews: "It said is was free and now they want me to pay! Waaah!". Did you loose anything by downloading the app? No, so move on and quit whining if you don't feel the content is worth paying for. Jesus.
