Default My email used in Battle.net/WoW account?!
Seriously....

I get "tons" of legit WoW crap on my email and I've never ever signed in WoW or Battle.net.

[cursing][dots]

I can't get "my" password sent to me because I don't know my first or last name. Or the ones' whomever has used my email as his.

Its not legit its a phising scam, if you look at the message source, the reply path and message id you'll see where its actually from

Indeed. I get tons of that to my work email address and my legit account is tied to a whole different domain (my private address). The sheer volume of wow-related scam-spam is just staggering...

For many of us, these emails are obvious due to grammatical errors, or the highlighted link not going to battle.net.

I get these emails to my Hotmail account, even though I move my battle.net registration to my Gmail account when the switch came since I had got hacked off a shared PC 3 years ago.

I sometimes go to the sites in a VM just to give them some scummy info disguised in an email address just to waste their time a bit

I get fake wow mail all the time. I have only been hacked once in my life and it was my WoW account. I used my email addy for the account name which is a no-no. And my password was 6 letters and two numbers which wasn't good enough.
