Heard a couple of great big bangs a couple of hours ago, like firework rockets exploding too low to the ground or a car backfiring. Didn't really think anything of it as I was busy doing work but we've just had a visit from the police to say that someone fired a shotgun a couple of times at the house right opposite! My flatmate told them that he saw a car driving away right after so we might be getting another visit later on.

Someone was in the house and got showered with glass when they shot the windows apparently, but nobody was hurt luckily. The whole road is cordoned off now and theres quite a lot of police still around.... well this has livened up Sunday evening a bit!
