Default Hostingrails screwing me, I need a new cheap host. Recommendations?
I first gave my business to Hostingrails with the "Beginners Plan," $43.08 a year, or $3.59 a month:

"Beginner Plan - Yearly Billing ($3.59 x 12 months) -- $43.08" (From the original email)

It provided: 5GB of space and 20GB of bandwidth. Here is the last two years worth of invoices;
==================================================
3/15/10 - 03/27/11 Stacked ####### 12Months $43.08
03/15/09 - 03/27/10 Stacked ####### 12Months $43.08
==================================================
This beginner's plan was brilliant, I loved it.

However, today I got an invoice to renew my 2011-2012 year. I was somewhat shocked:
==================================================
03/28/11-03/27/12 Stacked ####### 12Months $119.40
03/28/11-03/27/12 35% Coupon - Stacked ####### 12Months $41.79
Total Due on 03/28/11: $77.61
==================================================

Now, this "new and improved plan" still gives me 5GB of space, and "100GB of bandwidth". A bandwidth increase of 20GB to 100GB is an extremely nominal change for me. Yet, I am paying around $34 more. I need to pay $77 instead of $43. Actually, I won't be paying, because I won't be renewing my subscription with Hostingrails.

Now I need some suggestions for a new host. I need something around $40/year with similar specifications... Also, I've never switched hosts before, how difficult is the entire migration? I hear nightmare stories about it...
