Default My Faith in Humanity is gone.
Someone in the office just asked if anyone knows how to make a pot of coffee.

The kitchen has a $20 Mr. Coffee with one button and that's the On / Off switch.

At least I can guarantee that I wont lose my IT Job; there will always be someone in need of coffee maker assistance.

I had a friend who basically can cook worth a flip, let a lone use a microwave.
I have seen him put Ramen in the microwave without water and wonder why his food was smoking. I have also seen him eat a semi frozen Totino's pizza because he didn't know how to cook it and I would not cook it for him.
Still lives with him mom and I'd imagine he will till he finds a women if he can find one. I lived in an apartment with him for a month and he only ate fast food if he had the money because he couldn't cook. He lost a lot of weight in that 1 month.

I pretty much was like that. Moved out at 17 and didn't have a clue because everything was done for me. Moved back soon after until I learnt how to do all the jobs women are meant to do

Thats ridiculous. How could he not even follow the step-by-step instructions on the package? No one aside from the illiterate and the mentally challenged should have an issue with a task such as that.

Agreed. My woman can't cook worth beans but she can at least follow package directions. I do all the cooking for the house, but if she needs to make a frozen pizza she can at least do that.

I honestly have no idea. I tell him to just read the directions, but he always got stumped. Its like he never tries reading the directions. And yea he knows how to read. But what is sad, is I do have a mentally challenged brother (not blood related but my dad's wifes son) can cook better than he can.
It must be all the drugs he has done frying his brain. Every time I see him he is a little more different.

That one's not as easy as you first think. Unless you want a hard boiled egg it's hard to judge the exact time you need to get a soft yoke and a hard white.

Bollocks. Put an egg in a small saucepan of cold water. Put on cooker on full heat for 10 minutes.

1 perfect egg with runny yolk every time.

I'm going to try that next time I want a soft boiled egg, and if it isn't perfect I'm going to come and get you!

That is guaranteed 1 rubber egg right there with my cooker.

I am not certain my brother can scramble eggs. My bro ruined a brand new teflon pan trying to fry an egg.

Edit: Never mind. You said drop the egg into boiling water. Wouldn't it crack though?

I use a spoon if its already boiling water, but I no longer even do that when I had 2 eggs explode on me, never happened before that.

Occasionally it does.

But I do it this way because it cooks the egg white faster while leaving the yolk softer, aka LIQUID..
