What exactly are you looking for and did you enable the touch functionality on your win 7 machine? Windows XP touch was tacked on but Vista and especially multitouch 7 have been very nice in my experience.

Yep agree with Dibrom here. The touch interface is pretty neat, it's just that because you're used to all these windows applications that don't have proper touch support http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif
For example Windows Media Center is nice, but most of the plugins don't have touch support. If you're only using it for music it's a nice experience though.
XBMC has no touch support, but there are plugins that give it touch support, also quite nice.
The icons are big enough, internet explorer supports it (although you'll want IE9 and a compatible graphics card for smoothness) and then there's the always forgotten OneNote which is made for touch screen http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/smile1.gif
Sure there aren't a zillion stupid games that look flashy. But you'd be surprised how little of the iPad/etc is left when you remove all the games.
People who say w7 isn't prepared for touch haven't used it themselves, or used it with crappy hardware, which is not hard to come by these days. Use it on a proper tablet for example and you'll love it.
