Google centred on page - DiscussWorldIssues - Socio-Economic Religion and Political Uncensored Debate

Just noticed when I go to Google it's centred in the middle of the page. It's beginning to annoy me as I prefer it on the left. Is there a setting I can change to move it back?

What's bad about having it centered on the page?

edit: It's also been like this for a while now.

As you can see, everything but the top of the page is aligned to the centre. I preferred it when it was aligned to the left.
