Don't challenge Eurypelml, he is in the Netherlands and knows exactly what Los Angeles is like and the racism that exists.
Well since I've seen the movie I know literally everything anybody ever talks about in LA is racism. And the lives of these extremely racists people intertwine about 12 times a day in meticulously timed and yet amazingly predictable ways.

Dude, if you're bored go watch Transformers 2 or something, jeez .

Seriously, While I don't necessarily agree with them, I can understand the complaints about the plotline/moral direction being a bit too in-your-face, and the intertwining stories being forced and beyond coincidental but to complain about a movie like this because it's ' a bunch of boring bullcrap' is a problem with the viewer, not the film.

If you think this is boring I can't even imagine what you'd say about films like 2001, Shindler's List, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Taxi Driver, The Godfather, etc...

I have an appreciation for films that tell a story with a purpose. However trying to compare crash to most of those masterpieces is a bit absurd.

Crash had the Moral Subtlety of a Pink Elephant on your couch. The reason it was boring was being the entire time the movie was playing, it just kept punching "DONT BE A RACIST" into your face. The entire point of the movie was developed in the first 20 minutes, making the rest of it a boring bunch of shite. They didn't present anything new or worthwhile for the remaining duration, just more "DONT BE A RACIST". The fault lies with the film for not being able to present its message in an entertaining way that doesnt involve giant flashing neon signs telling you "THIS IS BAD DONT BE A RACIST."

Side Note Edit: Telling me to watch Transformers is kind of dumb. Explosions don't make a story exciting, and Transformers 2 was probably one of the least plot-driven movies I've seen.

Wow. started a friendly thread to ask for the name of a movie.
1 person states he doesnt like it and it turns into a flaming.

You do realize taste is something personal, tbh i wont like or dislike the movie more or less if someone had a different view on it.

ps. why do some ppl find it nessercary to start their fight in almost every thread i see in here?. Plz just lock it, original question was answered and no point of seeing apes fling poop at each other. [thumbup] or at least dont spout your thoughts like its a fact set in stone.

Bah, now i remember why i stopped posting [rolleyes]

Default Looking for a movie.
Been killing me for the whole day, a memory of a movie came up but i couldnt remember the name of the movie.

The film follows a few cops at their work and a small piece of their home life. It also follows a few person.
There is this cop duo; 1 rookie and 1 rasistic one.
A latino i think who struggles to keep out of crime, a black couple that get harrased by the 2nd cop.

Things i remember is that the rookie complains about his cop buddie and gets a car alone cuz his chief wont reprimand the other cop. (chief is black btw)
Near the end the rasistic cop saves the black lady from a car accident, she first fights him cuz she remembers him, ends up with them holding eachother and crying.
The rookie ends up shooting the latino, when he gave him a ride and thinks he was gonna pull out a gun, but was actually a little statue of a saint that the cop had in his car (saint of travel i believe)

In all the end shows the rookie being more a rasistic man then his cop buddie.

But for the life of me, cant remember the title. Want to see it again [thumbup] [help]

Yeah, Crash is excellent. It actually won an Oscar for Best Picture the year it came out.

The soundtrack by Mark Isham is really good as well and fits the film beautifully.
