Depends what you're cooking. No good kitchen should be without either.

Corn oil, it's better than both of them IMO.

I use olive oil for everything. I don't deep fry.

Then the next best thing apparently is to use canola oil for deep frying and stuff as it's healthier than other oils.

For deep frying : peanut oil (ararchide)

For baking : olive oil (cheap) as it can stand hotter temps than sunflower oil.

Olive oil I do like the most, especially as you can use it more then Vegetable or Sunflower Oil. But here in UK it's more expensive! So if you bit poor then it's cheaper to get other 2. I got some Vegetable Oil again this time.

Olive FTW.

If you're frying, you should be using Peanut Oil.

Canola Oil (It is like our Vegetable oil replacement. It is better for you, and is our general purpose cooking oil.)

Avocado Oil (It is very similar to olive oil, tastes good, but it doesn't brake down as easily when you cook it, so better for you)
We do have Olive oil if we don't have Avocado oil cause I have to order it online.

Coconut Oil (The best oil for you)

What sucks about Olive Oil, is it can be pretty expensive, but there have been recent studies that show that I think it was 70% of the Olive Oil that is sold is labeled wrong. If you buy Extra Virgin, there is a 70% that it is NOT Extra Virgin. Which sucks a lot cause Olive Oil is like wine unlike Canola Oil, Corn Oil, Vegetable Oil, etc.

Canola oil cant find it in the shops here in UK! (Most big ones anyway) Only Avocado oil in is shaving Avocado oil! And only Coconut Oil is Coconut Shower/Bath Oil! There is Corn Oil in though.

Which out of all of them can be used the most?

It's banned from use in pop corn machines such as those in movie theatres because it has too much saturated fat.

But there seems to be some counter arguments that it's not so bad.

Either way Olive oil just rocks. Really good to just drizzle on a sandwich, or dip some crusty bread into. nom nom nom.
