The kid needs help and th.e father is not making it any better. He should pull the plug on her internet and ban her from it for a few months. She then needs to get some professional help.

The people who have posted her address etc are bang out of order. What happens if the wrong person gets hold of it and she gets assaulted or murdered? Bunch of pricks. I do not find it funny, but I do find it very sad.

Well maybe thats a lesson to people and especially children her age that manners and respect still apply even on the internet.

For years ive been telling people esp ones younger than me that the internet is not as anonymous as you think. Its hardly the days were there was a few of us using 19.2K or 28.8k dialups and posting on BBS boards and using IRC.

Nowdays people feel the need to be on every possible social network on the planet oblivious to the fact how and where their info is stored or the ethics of the people holding that data. The internet is very much a real world now, hence the same rules apply to it, but its much less policed so if you want to dance with the wolfs and behave like how she did...dont be surprised when the wolfs decide to attack.

I guess you have never been bullied before. If you had, then you would understand the deep psychological effect it can have on people. If you had a family member who had been bullied on the internet, then killed themselves ( lets make it close to home, so your brother ) then how would you feel?
