I agree, it looked pretty awesome.

Believe it or not, that is part of the main arterial highway* and is quite steep in parts.
Mixing boards with trucks and cars, where there's no runoff if the lane is blocked by a slower moving vehicle, and the other lane has traffic, is "awesome"?

It still looks cool and it's probably quite an experience even if it's dangerous. I would never try it myself but some part of wish I would hehe.

This doesn't seem to be much more dangerous than driving on a bike at that speed down the motorway.

I remember reading that the average human forearm wears down at 2 inches per second on asphalt, so the guy with bare feet is definite Darwin award candidate!

Why the heck would anyone think that bare skin would be an even semi intelligent thing to do...

That's insane... .and re: barefoot... at that speed, if he came off the board it would not really matter if he had shoes or not. [rofl]

When I was younger, I'd've done a similar thing if the boards were around - but NOT on THE only road joining the largest city to the rest of the country.

Some have commented that it looks flat - that's probably because it's all sloping downhill.
At least it wasn't the South side, it's much steeper and has a major intersection at the bottom!
