Default Paypal Customer Support
Has anyone had issues with their support?

I was unable to send funds to a person on paypal as it appears that my account had been suspended pending security "Review". I'm guessing because I have sold a number of things on ebay and transferred the funds into my bank account.

So I emailed them and waited 48 hours for a response, asking what was wrong with my account and what was required in order for my account to be verified, heres the response:

Dear xxx,

My name is xxx and it my pleasure to assist you.

Thank you for contacting PayPal in relation to resetting your password.

You can reset your password from the following link: https://www.paypal.com/uk/cgi-bin/we...ry&from=PayPal

It has been my pleasure to assist you. Thank you for choosing PayPal.

I mean seriously who do they employ, did they even bother to read my email or just answer an email with a totally random response?? [cursing]

So I now try to ring them:

Welcome to paypal Customer Support please enter your personal PIN to continue, this can be found on the "My Account" > "Contact Us Page".

I enter the PIN.... Sorry this PIN is invaild Goodbye!

Words cannot express how I feel but perhaps this picture can.

It's not just PayPal - http://futuremark.yougamers.com/foru...d.php?t=130677

What's the point of having an email address if it's not going to be answered by a human?

Surprisingly I had a really good experience with PayPal support recently, but the times before that it was the same. I think they have automated responses. I ended up ringing them and it went OK.

Tried phoning T-Mobile last week and after 3 attempts I could not find a combination of buttons from the menus that led to a real person, just message after message. Looked online and found that if you just keep pressing zero you get put straight through to someone . Maybe there is a way around it like that for PayPal (instead of having to use the PIN?)

I too recently had the need for Paypal support.
We'd been unlocking a lot of Blackberry phones and so a lot of small charges were made on my credit card through Paypal.
So worried, they suspended my account.

10 minutes on the phone to two different people and I had the problem solved.
My account was un-suspended and all payments were authorised.
I was extremely pleased and hapy with the support I received.
