Those Bölkow's have a fixed rotor head, so you can even do 'loop the loop' in those things...

i'm not certain it is, but the camo paint makes it seem a military bird. If so, there is no liscense to lose, and that type of flying is lauded.

You may be right - no aircraft ID which would underline the military aspect. Hope he was authorised for those maneuvers of he'd be wishing his civil was at risk .

Have you seen the clip of the guys on night maneuvers where the pilot reckoned they could fit between two tree and the co-pilot was telling him they wouldn't? Didn't end well
