I run 6 days a week except on the elliptical machine in attempt to save my joints. It definitely gets easier the longer you keep it up. The biggest trick for lengthening the runs is pretty much as simple as making sure you are properly hydrated and pace yourself. If I am low on time I will go full throttle for 20-30 mins then on days when I am not as constrained on time I will go for 45 mins at a slower pace.
With that said, it is amazing how much more energy it gives you throughout the day and how it helps elevate mood. ![]() |
