Default England make the World Cup in South Africa!
Congratulations England and with two games to spare and a perfect record! [thumbup] I think we have a genuine chance of doing well and even a shot at winning it!

Excellent. Didn't have coverage of the match here, but I was following it online. Can't wait for next summer!

It was the most convincing I've seen England in a long while. Can't wait for next summer now, should be good.

Great result, I now have 9 months to mentally prepare myself for the heartache of a quarter final defeat on penalties

Seriously though, England are looking better than they have for years. Great Stuff.

generally yes, but you have to qualify, and they did early by winning 8 out of 8.

After not qualifying for the last Euro you can understand why English fans are relieved by this. Even the best teams can have a bit of a bad patch and not qualify. It looks like Portugal and France may miss out on the WC and IIRC Argentina need some help to get in. Even Brazil struggled a bit to qualify. Its also harder if you play in a tougher region. I mean North Korea and Australia have already booked their spot...

Hate the game, not the player

BTW Australia went just as far last world cup as England.
