Default Lol @ this alienware computer @ work today (also a question about them)
So i saw this alienware computer came in for repair at work today and i was kinda excited because i find it more interesting when i get to repair something a little more interesting then your everyday desktop.

Open it up see a 700w PSU, Core 2 etc etc. Then i see the video card... X1650XT. I almost fell over, dont get me wrong i dont have anything against the card itself, but this 700W PSU in it was huuuuge, bigger then standard for sure (and like 4x18amp 12v rails) and then the itty bitty little X1650XT, dont think i needed that big of a PSU [rofl]

That aside, i was curious who actually makes alienware cases? because i was impressed with how deep the case with (i always have my hard drive cages hitting the back of the long video cards)

Just because it's an Alienware doesn't mean it's going to have the absolute best of the time. You can go online, pick a basic model and budget the hell out of it... simultaneously ending up with hardware you can't configure that is overkill for what you did select.
