[rolleyes] I think that holding the neck like that was the most server, and the other two need to go just because they didn't stop him from doing that. You need to secure your subject, take him down to the ground if you need to cuff him. Don't act like you are going to choke him out. All for not yielding to a police officer as well. Pretty extreme. Though, you do have to remember that all cops are not this way. I generally, don't care much for cops, but when you need them you love them. We had a hit and run on us a few months ago. It was getting dark, if not already dark. Called the cops and within 10~15 minutes they have nailed the suspect. With the amount of cars on the road, to how many cops are on the road, and without a very good description of the vehicle, they did a FANTASTIC job. Plus they were very nice. We didn't even have like our insurance on us either which is state law, where we could have gotten a ticket, but the cop said "don't tell me that" so that he wouldn't have to write us a ticket. Than about a week ago, there was a cop blocking the intersection from a downed power line. I was going like 65/70mph in a 45 zone. Went around a curve and there he was! The road was wet, had to slam the brakes on and control my barely controllable truck. Came within 20/30 feet of hitting him while sliding all over my lane in the process. Get got out and questioned me, I didn't have my license or my updated insurance, and just told me to slow down. I lied to him as well about my speed, telling him only 55mph which he knew was a lie. |
