So I recently got ahold of a decent automatic watch, thing is, I don't wear it every day and I'd like to keep it wound. But I can't seem to find a half decent watch winder under $100! I mean, seriously, its a case, a couple cheap electrical parts and a motor. How is that worth $100?
Does anyone else have a winder? If so, which ones did you guys go with? |

complex complications? Like, its voice activated, but only when i do a bad kermit the frog impersonation?
![]() Yeah, I would probably wear it like once a week. I guess I was hoping it would last longer than a couple days, but I last wore it tuesday, picked it up this morning and it was dead. I wish I had a manual, cause the crown winds, but its stiff to move and i'm worried about overwinding and damaging the spring. I've heard some have a clutch to prevent overwinding via the crown, maybe I just haven't hit it yet. BTW, its a jacques du manoir (i'm not a watch guy, don't know if thats [thumbup] or [thumbdown]) |

Ah, like Seiko Kinetic? Why do you need a machine to wind it then? also, I've read that a properly wound watch will keep alot longer than one that is wound, dies, wound, dies etc |
