Default Babylon 5: The Lost Tales
Just watched it. I must say I was very disappointed, although not surprised considering what most of the previous B5 mini-movies were like. Some religious nonsense for the first story (I expected it to be aliens, it usually is in sci-fi, but no), and a bore fest for the second story. B5 used to be good.

Anyone else seen it?

Saw it when it first came out. Yes, the first story was mostly filler... But the second story, I thought was a very good examination of a moral dilemma. I just wish they had updated thier sets and special affects a bit more, as the low production values distract a lot from the story.

I really liked the philosophical and religious discussion of the first story and the moral dilemma of the second. I thought the special effects and sets were miles ahead of how they were on the TV show.

They had some really good discussions in the first story, but I have gotton used to being the only person I know who enjoys stuff like that.

Its like old and new sci-fi: Many of the really great old stuff was about concepts, and ideas. The new stuff is all to often action, explosions and shooting, but if there are no explosions, modern audiences would quickly get bored, so.....

What can ya' do?
