I really hope that this man:
His doctor selected a bone marrow donor who had a rare genetic mutation that renders people virtually immune to HIV Is doing everything he can with HIV organizations to help people....

do you mean the Doctor or the patient.

While it may seem a novel idea, to me, just making people immune that way is risky, because it risks putting the virus more into the population, if all of these people are carriers without any ill effects...whose to say when it might mutate and the natural immunity no longer works.

Not to mention...bone marrow transplants suck

I mean the donor, and I don't mean to make immunity.. But the guy seems like a great resource to study to find a cure. Take his immunity, and find how it can be used to cure other people without a painful and risky marrow transplant..
