I don't get it. I've never been a fan of Dilbert so I don't really find this that funny. I just hope I'm not missing some sarcasm in your post [surrender] |

Not to say I find it that amusing, but Dilbert is ranting and raving on how perfect it is, and says outright, that it is "so perfect that it can never be improved." Then the first thing that Dogbert says is, "You should cram a bed in there." Thus offering an improvement. |

For the non-cubicle working engineers here, I'll tell give my interpretation.
By making the cubicle mobile, the worker wouldn't have to leave the cubicle for anything, allowing more work to get done. The bed would allow the worker to truly live in their cubicle. In this way, a worker (especially an engineer) would be able to live at work. |
