Default Money Making Scheme
So I was thinking of ways to make money... and then it hit me like a ton of bricks.

Children.

Why children, you ask? Benefits. The trick is to think like a corporate manager. How do you make the big bucks? Its easy. You just watch the employees do the work.

"But how does this work?"

Well I'm glad you asked. Start off by adopting a 12 year old, an 8 year old, and a 6 year old. You're already making money now, right? Well now you get babies. You see, the system is mostly self sufficient. Worst case scenario you have to watch the youngest ones during the day. Or you can pay someone to do it, because you make good cash. In the evenings you can go out, and you have the oldest watch the children. As they age you will always have a child in the babysitting range to take care of the kids. Its like a chinese sweatshop. The children making money for you, and they do all the work!

The only downside I see to this is that it could be like an 8 hour job because you would have to spend the day with the youngest. An alternative might be foster children. Keep getting ones past the crapping their pants age. As long as they're in school you only have to worry about them in the summer, but even then they're old enough that you can supply them with electronics and they'll go their own way. They'll learn everything they need from school, so you don't have to teach them anything. All you have to do is put up with whining... but you're probably married so you're used to it anyway.
And yes, this was totally meant as a joke to poke fun at certain flaws of society.

First off: White Text

Second: Why, exactly, am I retarded? You live in Ohio, same as me. So you're clearly an American citizen. Look at society, then look at what I posted. Its somewhat of a dramatization of the decline of our society in respects to morals, obligations, and personal responsibility. But can you honestly deny that our society hasn't taken on a mentality where we want to remove personal responsibility and take the easy way out on everything?

Honestly though, giving zero thought to something and calling someone a retard speaks for itself.

I understand this is a joke but at least make it make sense and/or funny. I want my 20 seconds back. [thumbdown]

Too bad it would cost hella more to actually raise the child than any benefits you would be getting for having it. Fail.

(I know this was satirical btw).

First, adopting takes forever to get done and is pretty expensive in itself. Second, you need to take good care of them and if that is not on your own list as specialities then what?

No offence but your ideas suck!

Yupp and any parent will probably agree with me here,
a 8 hour job is a joke in compare to raising kids.

Once in a meat-packing plant far away, there was a sausage. His name was Haarplfoosh. Although since he was simply a mass of pig guts stuck into a small, gristly tube, he did not care. So, thus it was totally pointless. The End.

This in addition to nonsense.........

I want to know more about Haarplfoosh. Whats he doing now? Did he see a psychiatrist and realise his life isnt so pointless? He sounds like such a good sausage. This story makes me sad

That's kinda the point. The fact that people DON'T PARENT, or do it part-time. Real parenting is a 24/7 job. These people get paid ($8500/child the one I know of) in addition to child tax credits and what not just for having the child in their home. They don't have to actually parent. They can get away with physically and mentally abusing a child, telling them to cook their own dinner, and ignoring them for 95% of the year. If the child is too afraid of their parents to talk to them and instead hides in their room all the better.

That's not parenting. And that's the problem. These people get paid to destroy the lives of children. I dunno about you, but to me that's pretty f'd up. Oh, and you might remember my post about my wife's sister. Game over. CPS blamed her for it and told her next time they'll place her with someone who isn't her family, or just shove her in a group home, so that she learns her lesson. Left bruises? Check. Drew blood? Check. CPS took photographs? Oops...Child's fault? Check. She's attempted suicide and cuts herself. Clearly he's doing a superb job of parenting and deserves to get paid for it. It disgusts me to think that people believe its ok for a grown adult to physically assault a child like that.

That's just one case. I've known other situations as well. Grew up with friends in those situations. Knew a number of kids in highschool in the same boat. It really is a problem in this country. At least in the midwest. No child deserves to be treated as a paycheck.

First, adopting takes forever to get done and is pretty expensive in itself. Second, you need to take good care of them and if that is not on your own list as specialities then what? Well, maybe foster parenting instead of adoption. Also, I should probably include making tennis shoes in there. I hear that pays well. Pssst... dude... wanna buy some air force ones?

You'd be surprised what you can get away with. Taking "good care of them" means you give them food, shelter, and clothing. The rules regarding punishment around here are extremely lax, and CPS doesn't care.

So, thus it was totally pointless. The End. Clearly that isn't the end. What did he do after he left the meat-packing plant? Its not a pointless story, because somewhere someone was happy because they got to eat a tasty sausage.
