Pizza Hut to change its name to....
|
The funny part is, someone probably earnt loads coming up with that idea [no]
|
The funny thing is, I was gonna say that April Fools joke is about 6 months old (because those Pasta Hut TV commercials back then were just that, a joke) but then I seen that apparently this is true!
Oh well, I never eat there anyway. It's all frozen overpriced garbage anyway these days. Nothing like a pie from a local pizzeria. |
utterly lame
the pasta in those places sucks ass anyway :/ |
This a uk thing only?
I wasn't even aware that pizza hut sold pasta [rofl] |

This is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard.Pizza Hut is a global brand with millions of dollars spent on marketing. Only reason I can see for a change would be if the company has been seriously mismanaged and has a dismal reputation in the UK. But seriously, why would you rename it to Pasta Haus in this day and age of GI? Does not seem like a wise move. Admittedly better than pizza hut in that respect - but why not just "the hut" or something similar if they really want a name change and they can change the menu according to trends as they wish.
Without knowing the owner structure in this particular company I am wondering what the US office is thinking. Are they still a franchise under the Pepsico umbrella? I can't help but thinking about the catastrophy with "new coke" when I read this. |
shack ? bungalow ? maisonette ?

As part of the revamp, the chain will temporarily rename 30 of its Pizza Hut branches Pasta Hut to present a healthier image. http://www.stuff.co.nz/stuff/4719066a7773.html |

Blame Olive Garden with their never ending pasta bowls! (so good)
BTW I love Pizza Hut thin crust pizzas, never tried their new pasta approach to life, but until you can hold a slice of pasta in one hand while watching football, I don't imagine I ever will. |

It's a diet method pretty popular rigt now, at least in my country. Low in carboydrates and high in protein/fatty foods for weight loss.
