I've always known the result of dragging shapes around in paint, eg. below



Result is pretty expected

But for some reason i just tried dragging letters around:
The result of a black A, red B, purple C, light blue D



I expected it to retain the the same colour throughout the dragging

Never knew you could drag letters or shapes in MS Paint, its just not something I'd have even thought of trying!

its rather simple, just use the selection tool, select whatever you want, set it on transparency, hold shift down and drag it around the place
