I have a friend leaving for India in a month. He's going to be there for a while and I want to set up a blog for him. I have some experience using Wordpress on my webspace but the cost of hosting is $5/month paying for 12 months and then I pay $8 a year for the domain.

Is there anywhere I can set up a free web hosting account, install wordpress, and buy a domain? Or is there any super cheap hosting solution for blogs that is not blogspot? I'm looking for something a little more customizable.
