The last time I cried in a movie was in The Neverending Story when that horse died in the swamp. I think I was 7 at the time.

I can't remember the name of the movie...

It was about a young school aged midget, and in the end he sacrifices himself to save a busload of classmates (the same ones who used to make fun of him).

..or...something along those lines. Its been a while.

The bit in Grumpier Old Men where Burgess Meredith dies often brings a tear to my eye.

I've never actually "cried" in a movie but a few movies have brought a tear to my eye.

Green Mile
Titanic

I know there's another one but I can't remember (starts cryinghttp://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/cry1.gif)http://discussworldissues.com/forums...es/tongue1.gif

Good to see there're so many of you man enough to cry and man enough to admit it.
I think the last time for me was watching "Field of Dreams" - it was shortly after my father died and it brought out some emotions.http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/sad1.gif

I've known a few hard men who could endure all sorts of physical pain or punishment without flinching but who could weep like children at weddings and funerals of dear friends or family.

another one for green mile.

And i sometimes have tears of joy after witnessing amazing filmmaking.

1) Children of Men
2) Wall-E

It's one of those situations where you try and tell yourself "It's just a movie... it's just a movie"... but who are we kidding, it's moving stuff! http://discussworldissues.com/forums...ilies/cry1.gif

Ahh yes Man on Fire. I don't think I cried but it was definitely a sad scene at the end. And Cool Runnings, what was so sad about that? I thought it was more of a comedy.
