I tend to sit around and think too much. For example, I'll think about putting my socks in the laundry, or doing laundry, or cleaning my room. I'll think about it for about 30 minutes until I realized that I should have just done it rather than wasting time thinking about it. Anyone else do this?

I know it sounds easy to just "do it" and not think about it, but it's really difficult for me. Like that funny Youtube video link that was posted, I try to plan out every little thing and think of the best way to do each little task. I suppose it's a way to compensate for my laziness by actively using my mind instead of my body???

so listen have you ever jumped of the 10 meter boards at a swimming pool ?
You can´t stand at the top for hours breaking your head about all the varieties of jumps you could make, and all the things that could happen on the way down, on impact, underwater, etc. Or you could just run and jump, get it over and enjoy the thrill of spontaneous actions. |

Since I'm not the only one who suffers from this, what would be the psychology explanation for this? ![]() |
