I am in the minority, but I really really wish Will Ferrel would stop making movies. To me, they just aren't funny. Crap like Semi-Pro, Blades of Glory, Talladega Nights, etc just were so stupid...

ah well.. different strokes I guess.

That implies that those movies would be better if there was a different actor in them. Will was going to be in Hot Rod, but was replaced. How did that movie grab you?

No clue what "Hot Rod" even is.

Either way, I think the movies look like crap. Would they be better with someone else? I doubt it. But I still hate Will's performance (or lack there of).

and some people think robin williams/chris rock/jackie chan/eddie murphy/jim carrey aren't funny. Truth is, they all are to some extint. Adam sandler has made a fortune making the same movie over and over (much like ferrel). If you are in the right mood, they are all funny, and in a theatre, you will likely laugh because laughing is contagious. Will the movie be dumb... without a doubt. Most funny things are though. For some reason, Will Ferrel makes me laugh. Not in everything he does, but Frank the Tank was genius.

the trailer is funny as hell anyways. I [rofl] when all of the sudden the music montage kicks in and you see them doing slo-mo karate in the garage.[rofl]

also, believe it or not, John C. Reilly is funnier than Will Ferrel imo. They both have that hilarious over the top style though.

Adam sandler also, have you guys seen his new movie trailer? I don't mind the guy, but that movie looks absolutely terrible, and seems little more than a Borat cash in. It literally seems like he realized "this Borat guy is funny" I'm going to cynically rip it off and do the foreigner with an accent thing. If i were him, I'd keep writing myself scripts where I get to play with Jessica Beils jubblies and forget about the former Mossad hairdresser thing.
