Default Super Aguri Out of F1
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/moto...ne/7384404.stm

Shame to see another team bite the dust, and a British driver loosing his drive.

Lol while it's a shame to see a team leave the grid (and make the chances of anything interesting happen in a race even lesser) I'd hardly say Mr Davidson's lost a drive. Has he even made it past 10 laps in any race this year?

Awww, Super Best Friends actually were doing pretty decent for how small their team was and how few resources they had! Plus, who the **** was the sponsor last year that never paid them even though the cars had the brand displayed the whole season!? I want that company to go out of business!

This sucks, i really wish there was a way to keep the smaller teams in, and allow them to compete. At the moment they just make up the numbers for the last places on the grid.
One day i hope that F1 reaches a stage where smalls teams could cause upsets at least a few times a year, though likely to never happen.

I think you shouldnt be allowed into F1 if you cant present a certain budget for at least 3 years. It really doesnt help when those small teams come and go all the time. And if a Sponsor doesnt pay, F1 should have to sue him and not the team.

It actually wasn't Super Aguri at blame here, one of the investors at the end of last season failed to "pay up" putting poor old Aguri Suzuki into debt with Honda..

"Non-payment on a major sponsorship deal at the end of last season with oil and gas company, SS United, initially plunged Super Aguri into turmoil." http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,1895...527416,00.html

The team is currently in 'Administration' http://www.planetf1.com/story/0,1895...537840,00.html

Hopefully, someone new might come along... then again, with the current Max Mosley scandal [no]

Phantom, thats what I meant. SuperAguri shouldnt be left out in the rain with it, F1 should sue the Sponsor.

Sorry, my selective reading caused me to not notice "And if a Sponsor doesnt pay, F1 should have to sue him and not the team." Just as well I don't moderate now eh!

I suppose at least on the upside, if any F1 fans didn't know of PlanetF1 then they do now
