Has anyone else used dabs and had very bad service with them?
Basically I ordered a full PC Upgrade (Over £1200 I may add) when I actually ordered it I was told all items were in stock and ready to be dispatched. After being accepted for finance so it can be paid off in December I recieve an email to tell me that Vista Home ED Upgrade is out of stock, but it would be back in stock a few days later. A week passes and I recieve another email to say that its been delayed again for another 1 week, I go into CS and complain but Im told I would have to cancel the order fully and have to re-order and see if I would be accepeted for finance but its def coming back in stock 25/03/07 confirmed.. Then I recieve yet another email to say its going to be another 3 weeks! [cursing] So I go into online support and complain yet again and Im told that the product has been discontinued and wont be coming back in stock, of course if I didnt go into support I would have just kept recieving emails all the time about delays, dabs appologies but wont pay any extra for the items that were showing in stock when it was actually discountinued. I agree to pay an additional £40 for vista bussiness upgrade which is a complete waste of money imo but it guarantees me for delivery today. But heres the best part when I actually recieve my order today after 3 weeks of waiting for nothing it states in the dispatch notes that all items have been checked and shipped, but notice that unbelievely my RAM hasnt been shipped at all when I unpack everything. [cursing] Appalling service from dabs in future I wont order from there again and Ill stick to ebuyer [thumbdown][thumbdown] the only reason why I chose dabs was for online finance but it isnt worth the hassle!!! |
