I posted some things FS on my wife's facebook account and got a message from a person with no ID picture or network (only put it in the College and Baton Rouge area). Well, he messages us and asks us to contact us via email. He also spoke in very broken english but I didn't want to assume he was a scammer because I know a lot of international people. Well, after a few emails of asking where he lives, and doing some research, i'm about 85% sure that he is a scammer. I already gave out our address and hope nothing bad can come out of it but maybe you guys can help me out. Here is the email account (tried to get it the most I could accurate I could):

Where in Baton Rouge are you located? I need to know this in order to bring the items to you. We will meet someplace local near the both of us. I sent you my address already in a previous email, so please notify me when you send the cashier's check to me. Ok, after asking him after 2 emails where he lived, I got really suspicious and worried b/c I gave him my address and he won't tell me where he lives. I google'd some info on facebook marketplace scams and a lot of the stuff he is doing sounds the same as what this guy is doing. Now what do I do? I actually gave him my address (didn't give out our phone) so is there any harm that could be done? What if he really does send me a "cashiers check". How do I know that I won't get scamed? If you guys get give me some advice i'd REALLY appreciate it.
