So everyone pissed on the last car thread I made because apparently Chrysler Crossfires are not nice cars and $30,000 is not an expensive car even though this forum is full of teenagers who could never afford anything in that price range. But to you all I say, HAH! As I was driving out into the suburbs today I saw a nice lamborghini on the road. Easily the most expensive vehicle I've ever seen on the street. Can someone identify the model? It zoomed past me pretty fast.

It's a Gallardo. Slow, boring, cheap to buy and maintain. Crossfire's suck too.

Are you taking the piss? Used Gallardos cost around $160,000 IIRC. I'm 15 and even I understand thats hella expensive.

Invoice prices for a 2007 Gallardo is $180,000. It has a v10 engine that propels the vehicle 0-60 in 3.8 seconds.

Look at the white text in mgboy's post. $180,000 could buy you a house in most areas of the US. Anyhow I could post a thread about how I saw a Bugatti Veryon or how I met George W Bush or Kofi Annan or something like that and people would still find a reason to crap on it because it's the internet.

And a 70k Z06 takes it on a track, and in a straight line. :) ZR1 will annihilate the Gallardo. Listening to the v10 is like having an orgasm though. :)

No ones arguing the fact that there may be another cheaper car out there that could beat it, but that guy that said gallardos are cheap and slow is just stupid. if you want a cheap and slow car look at the old peugot 205s.

theres 3-4 Enzo in my city, 1 MC12 and 30+ F360,430 and Lambos, the 430 being what I would love to own.

The baby lambo, it is a nice car.

Lambos/Ferarris/Porsches all are very common sight in Manchester, especially in and near the Curry Mile as most of the Asian's all rent the cars or mummy and daddy has bought it for them.

The ones that are actually rare to actually see is a clean Skyline R34/RX7.
Never seen many of them, Lambos/Ferraris and Porsches, seen them more than I have with the R34 and RX7.

to be fair though, Corvette's don't have anywhere near the refinement that other super cars do, with lambo, porsche, ferarri your nice and comfy going 200. Not to mention chassis response is prob. quite a bit better.

z06 your ass is sore going around turn 4 at 150. Doesn't mean it's not fun though =P

I love the z06, but I'll be damned if i ever picked it over say the lp640 Murcielago. Price difference or not.... that car gives you passionate sweet sweets just glancing at it.

Yep cars are alot more than simple facts and figures, which is why the Gallardo has a huge premium over any Corvette.

to bad the Z06 looks like crap.
I mean honestly, even if the Z06 were 5x faster than the Gallardo, and a tenth of the price,
I´d still get the Gallardo if i could afford it.
Its a design masterpiece imo.
One of the most elegant and aggressive looking cars out there.
I love it.

think of it like this, you could have a sex hungry, 320 pound Ukrainien chick with warts all over her face that would drive you crazy in bed,
or you could have a beautiful goddess, in her 18´s that just makes good love,.. nothing to write home about, but she gets the job done.

Btw, everyone's got different tastes anyway, you love Gallardo, he loves the Corvette. Just a matter of preference.. I wouldn't say the Corvette's comparable to a 320 pound Ukranian chick haha :)

I like Vette's and all, but you've got to take into consideration the pantie peeler aspect of this too.

Which do you think you'll hear more of:

"Oh wow, a Chevy!....." or
"Oh wow, a Lamborghini!...."

Because lets face it, that's usually an aspect when buying these types of cars. [rofl]
