It looks real, must be for some marketing venture they are planning. Alas it's probably the brain child of some 30 something who doesn't realise that using pop culture litany is almost always recipe for failure.

For advertising you must create cool, not borrow/steal/copyright it.

/runs off to patent "moronic" so I can't be prevented from using the word in reference to this, since it appears to be true.

I'm sure there has to be a reasonable explaination, perhaps it the name of their new game engine or one of the tests in vantage.

Wow, talk about pathetic. What right does FM have to the word. They didn't make it; hell, they don't even use it. This needs to be shot down faster than a $2 hooker...

I wonder if they realize that pwnage is a word that has grown to become a parody of itself? In other words, there's nothing cool about it, except for its use as a source of mockery towards anyone who uses it in their vocabulary. If they were smart, they would trademark WTF. Anything with the f-word is always cool.

You proved my point - they have no right to the word. Unlike Windows and Apple, they haven't even used the word anywhere. It is common usage; they did not coin it, nor have they even actively used it.

Also, Windows and Apple refer to certain products; mind pointing out what "Pwnage" refers to? [thumbdown]

Isn't FM getting into the game business? If so, it might be the name of their game.

However, naming a game "pwnage" is a recipe for disaster.

Are you saying that the apple and windows trademark were reserved AFTER the release of said products?
