Default Play.com has ****ing good service
With all those cheap prices and such I always thought Play.com would have really bad phone service, but no, they really don't - infact it's probably the best phone service I've had.
As soon as I ring the the number and select what kind of help I want, the phone doesn't even ring because someone has already picked up and they speak fluent English!

I've rang up 3 days in a row now (just checking my laptop order, it's going through security check which is not their fault I'm waiting). I rang up Friday, Saturday and just now and every time I've been instantly connected - even on a Saturday!

Just thought I'd share this incase anyone was unsure about buying expensive stuff on Play.com

And if you ever have to return a small thing... they'll send out the replacement before they've even received the return! Quite impressive really.

I even had to return my first GH3 because I got a dodgy guitar - had it back within 48 hours - nice and quick with easy to deal with staff.

They are good

That's why I go back to them, time and time again.

Play.com really is top class, i order all my movies/games off there. i've only ever had one problem with them - i ordered some dvds off them once and they never arrived, but i would prob put that down to some postal worker with sticky fingers [thumbdown]

What's Amazon.co.uk return goods procedure like?,how easy is it too return stuff, never done it before, reason asking I purchased a mouse(dispatched but undelivered)off them, and today a more suited microsoft mouse was released out, what's the procedure of returning unopen good's too amazon,easy/medium/hard.I've read the Faq's,and it's seem's a long whined process,e-mail them with return Authorization No,print out the return letter/document and return them by added extra cost of normal or recorded post.Seem's costly and not that simply easy, like ringing them up too collect and refund me or exchange item.Cheer's.

The only problem is that if something does not arrive, you have to wait 21 days before you can register it as missing on their site (they then either refund you, or send out another item).

From the UK to Holland sometimes stuff I order from play.com sometimes takes a week to arrive, other times 3 weeks.

Whats odd is that I can order 3 things on the same day (with them all shipping on the SAME day), yet they will arrive with me on 3 different days, often as much as a week apart! What the heck happens with the postal system?

I've ordered plenty from both Amazon and Play.com. Both really are top class, although i'll only order from the site which has the cheapest price for any particular item i'm looking for. Granted, I haven't had the need to return anything to either company to date, but the service from both of them is fantastic. Hell, I even got Super Mario Galaxy two days early before release from Play.com. [thumbup]

I've never tried play, the prices are good from looking, I might try them soon but Amazon are perfectly fine for support.
